Isocandela Chart

What is it?

• A chart that shows a map of candela values, rather than only the peak.
• This is the best way to show the true light output of any lamp.
• Only downside- this chart does not show light color, and it hides any issues with Blending (it's hard to see if there's small hotspots, because it only shows ranges of intensity)

How do we use it at Diode?

• We report this on datasheets and use it extensively in engineering.
